And in order to be able to enroll in them there are certain periods, especially for people entering this program. The first period to keep in mind is the <strong>Initial Enrollment Period<\/strong>which has a time window of <em>seven months<\/em> which is the month of his birthday, three months before and three months after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When a person needs to manually enroll in Medicare, it means that you need to contact Social Security to enroll. It is best to do this during the <strong><em>first three months<\/em><\/strong> to make this process faster and start your coverage on the first of the month of your birthday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the person makes a registration <strong><em>during the birthday month<\/em><\/strong>If you enroll in Medicare, this Medicare coverage becomes effective the first of the following month. But keep in mind, if you make this enrollment, you will not be covered for the following month. <strong><em>the following month<\/em><\/strong> of the month of his birthday, this coverage will be delayed. <strong>two months<\/strong>. They can prove this at Social Security offices and make a Part B enrollment without any problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is important to be aware of these enrollment periods and enroll on time to avoid penalties or delays in your coverage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Regarding the Part B premium, the cost for next year 2023 has not yet been stipulated, but we remain positive that it is going to be lower than what it costs this year.
