Plan A
Medicare Supplement Plan A is the most basic of the ten Medicare Supplement plans or Medigap policies and provides coverage for both Medicare coinsurance and Medicare Part A coinsurance. Part A for hospital stays as well as for Medicare hospital coinsurance. Part B Medicare supplemental insurance for physicians and medical services. While it is not one of the most popular plan options among Medicare beneficiaries, all insurance companies that sell Medicare supplement insurance must offer it.

- Medicare Part A copayment for hospice services.
- The first three pints of blood required for any medical procedure.
